The department of life sciences (DLS) organized an online event on July 17, 2020 to welcome the new students who joined the Biochemistry or Microbiology program for the first time in the Summer-2020 semester. All faculty members of the department and most of the new students participated in this event. The Dean of SELS and Head of the department, as well as other faculty members spoke on the occasion to welcome the new students. The event was conducted by Dr. Ashrafus Safa. One of the objectives of this event was to introduce the new students to the faculty members and to their classmates. Here is an introduction to a section of new students who joined the event.
